Community Yard Sale

October 2, 2021 @ 7:30 am - 1:00 pm

Clean out those cupboards and closets and support your community and church!

The Germantown organizations of West Central Germantown Neighbors, Christ Church & St. Michael’s, and Circle of Hope enthusiastically invite neighbors near and not-so-near to join us in community for a yard sale. Find a treasure and then attend Revolutionary Germantown festivities!  (Rain date:  Saturday, October 16)

There are many ways you can participate:

  • Donate serviceable items to one of the sponsoring organizations who will sell them to support their essential efforts in our community.
  • Sell your own stuff by either renting a spot at 29 W. Tulpehocken market area or vending from your own yard if you live nearby. We will ask for a small donation to help cover overhead costs.  Pre-registration to sell is required no later than Sept. 25.  Email wcgnboard@gmail.com (use subject line “Yard Sale”).
  • Meet your neighbors by volunteering to help out before or the day of!
  • Come shop for a new treasure to call your own! We also hope to have free items available for the taking, such as children’s clothes, school supplies, and cold-weather items.

Information specifically for members of Christ Church and St. Michael’s:

  • Please do not bring any clothes for sale, though jewelry, shoes, and the like are welcome.
  • The Parish House auditorium will be open for drop-offs 9 am-1 pm on W Sept. 22 and W Sept 29.
  • The auditorium will also provisionally be open for drop-offs on F Oct. 1, 9 am-1 pm. It will definitely be open 6-7:30 pm.  Volunteers are very welcome at these times.
  • If you would like someone to pick up items at your home, please call Renee at 267 971 9450 and she will make arrangements. Be sure to say how large the items are, since furniture will require a truck.
  • Feel free to tape or pin suggested prices on the items you donate. That will save everyone some time.
